Craig is a Senior Associate Solicitor who has developed a niche specialism in pursuing a broad range of complex actions against the police and other public authorities, including:
- Death in Custody;
- False Imprisonment;
- Unlawful Arrest;
- Trespass;
- Assault and Battery;
- Malicious Prosecution;
- Misfeasance in Public Office; and
- Judicial Review.
Craig is regularly instructed in high profile inquests, including Article 2 inquests where deaths have occurred in state detention or as a result of state failings.
Craig also specialises in bringing actions under the Human Rights Act.
Craig is a Solicitor-Advocate having gained his higher rights of audience meaning that he is able to offer a full service on litigation and advocacy matters.
He is a member of the Police Action Lawyers Group, a national organisation comprised of solicitors, barristers and legal executives who represent complainants against the police throughout England and Wales.
Craig is also a member of the Inquest Lawyers Group (ILG), which is a national pool of lawyers who are willing and able to provide preparation and legal representation for bereaved families.
